Privacy Policy
MCAT Learning Hub is operated by DFYN Atelier, a business registered in Alberta and based in Calgary, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions or requests: support@dfynatelier.com.
What we collect and why

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your study data for advertising. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, the most commonly missed topics across all learners, reported only for groups of 10 or more) may be used to improve the product.
Where it is stored
Account and study data are stored with Supabase in its Canada (Central) region. Some service providers we use process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States: Cloudflare (website hosting and visit statistics) and Resend (sending account emails). When we add payments, Stripe will process payment details; we never see or store card numbers. These providers may be subject to the laws of the countries where they operate. Your choices and rights
- Access and export: download all your study data any time from Settings → Backup & export.
- Correct: edit your details and records directly in the app.
- Delete: Settings → Delete my account removes your account and study data. Records of any purchases are kept, without your name or email, as required for tax purposes.
- Usage statistics: turn off in Settings.
- Emails: we send news only if you opt in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link. Account and security emails are sent as needed.
How long we keep it
Study data: until you delete your account. Usage statistics: up to 13 months. Feedback: up to 2 years. Purchase records: 6 years after the tax year, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Database rules allow each account to read only its own study data. Access by the operator is limited to account and support administration and is logged.
If something goes wrong
If a privacy breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta and affected users as the law requires.
